Pressure Wash HullIn order to comply with environmental regulations, all boats need to be pressure washed on lift out unless otherwise agreed – charges apply. Fill out below.
Mast stepping is coordinated by CYC. CYC will contract a crane service, complete with signalman, and provide insurance coverage the contracted crane service and CYC. Participants will be responsible for sling handling, mast handling, traffic controls. Designated CYC volunteers will be on site to coordinate the hoisting operations. The group shall also be collectively responsible for transportation of mast from and to the mast storage compound if required. The Town will make available a short term mast storage and crane set up area from which mast stepping operations will be conducted. Instructions Form on https://cobourgyachtclub.ca/

For environmental and safety reasons, please use the disposal facilities provided for waste oil, batteries and other hazardous materials. Any antifouling scrapings must be contained and bagged - this is also hazardous waste and must not be disposed of in general waste bins. We offer free disposal, please contact Reception for details.

I hereby instruct Cobourg Marina and/or its contractors to carry out work detailed above and have read and agreed to the Terms of Business and the Cobourg Marina regulations.
Payment may be completed online, over the phone (905-372-2397) or at the Cobourg Marina office (103 Third Street), via, credit card, cash, or debit.Please note: Your Haul Out date will not be confirmed until payment has been received and your account balance is 0.
In order to help facilitate lifting in of your boat we strongly urge you to visit the Cobourg Yacht Club website, www.cobourgyachtclub.ca. Go to the pulldown menu entitled “Information” on the homepage. Click on the word “Information” and select and read “Preparing for Lift-In and Lift-Out”, “Lift Procedures” and “Mast Procedures”.
The following is a waiver which must be signed and submitted to the Marina office prior to lift in.
Waiver
I am aware and accept that the intent and understanding of the lift-in (lift-out) and mast stepping operations is that both are self-help activities where CYC members and Non-CYC members are lifting his or her boats with assistance of contracted equipment and CYC member volunteers. Any damage to an owner’s boat resulting from these operations is the boat owner’s responsibility. Neither CYC nor the Town of Cobourg will be liable for any such damage, which should be covered under the boat owner’s insurance policy.
Further, if I do not de-mast for the purpose of lift, haulage and storage, I additionally agree to indemnify the CYC, Harbour West Marine Transport and the Town of Cobourg against liability for any damage as a result of leaving my mast in place.
